Hi guys! Today is Sunday and no schooling.. f i n a l l y !! =D I woke up way too early for a 'free day', so I made breakfast for my whole family. It's bacon cups filled with egg, mushroom, and topped with cheddar cheese. So simple yet yummy, u can make this dish too for your beloved ones.. :)
Ingredients :
- Streaky bacon (I used "Mama's" Streaky Bacon, you can find in Carrefour/Hero or any other groceries store)
- Eggs
- Milk
- Button Mushroom
- Cheese
- Pepper
- Salt
- Pre heat the oven to 200*C
- Par cook the bacon slices by frying them for 3minutes, then remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
- Take one slice of bacon then wrap the inside of muffin cup to create a 'ring', repeat for the remaining slices of the bacon.
- Beat or whisk eggs (I used 6 eggs cause I made 6 baconcups, my muffin pan is small I just could make 6 cups at a time), add salt and pepper, add milk and mushroom. Mix well.
- Pour the eggs into the bacon cups, then put them in oven, Wait for approximately 25minutes. If they are firm on top, add shreded cheddar cheese on top. Pop back in the oven for about 10minutes. Depending on your oven, they might be done sooner than mine.
- When you check them final time, if they still have liquidy jiggle, they are not done. The eggs should be firm and cooked all the way through. If the eggs are firm, and already risen a bit then they're done.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for 5minutes before you transfer to serving plate. Serve and enjoy this dish with your beloved one :)
